Almost there

 Just a quick update on the last book. The story is almost complete. I'm just doing my last read-through with touch-ups and some little additions here and there. After this, I will contact an editor and then the schedule is really in their hands. Of course, I need to start working on the cover so that will take a bit of time too. The drawing and processing of the cover isn't all that time-consuming, the hardest part is coming up with what to draw.

It is a rather funny feeling to be nearing the end of 4 years and 4 books project. What will I do with my time after all of it? I have some ideas for stories but I also wrote many stories that never saw the light of day before publishing this series so I know I will very likely keep on writing but whether any of them will end up as books... Well, only time will tell.

The next story

 Quite a few months have gone by since the last post. I've been mostly ignoring writing and letting things to percolate in my head. Now, I'm getting quite a strong pull from certain ideas and directions for a new book. I don't yet know if it will be a series or not. Quite likely not as it more of an exploration of what happens long after the Strands of Existance story has finished. What I know for sure so far is that it will be told from the first person of several people, so we won't be stuck in just one persons head all the time. There are at least 3 different people who will have their thoughts and experiences shared. Two of them will be sisters who life has treated quite differently. Why Do I Write?

  Why do I write? Because in a world where most people feel comfortable speaking and expressing themselves with speech, I feel alienated and alone at times. I love words. I love stories. But I can only relay them through written form. I’ve always been quiet on the outside, hiding what I really think and feel. I dread making phone calls, I hate giving speeches and presentations (though I’m actually quite good at such things). It just goes against the very fiber of my being and drains me. Writing energizes me. It makes me feel alive in my own little nook. I get to traverse very different worlds and see so many wonderful sights. I get to explore. It’s a strange thing to want to experience life. I want to travel and have all sorts of foods, drinks and soak up different influences… but while I love all of it, I can travel to far more rare places within. The reading life blog review

 Today, is a very happy day as I just woke up to find out that someone had purchases all 4 books in one go. That is one brave individual there to jump straight into an indie series. Usually, most buy them one at a time.
